If you want a quick overview, here's how it all works:
STEP 1 : REGISTRATION
- New Users must first register on SalonManager
- After filling in your details, an activation email is sent to your email address
- Your account is activated by clicking the link embedded within that mail.
- Once activated your profile is stored permanently, and can be accessed at any time for this and future salons by logging on.
STEP 2 : ENTERING A SALON
- Log on and check details on your profile (edit if necessary)
- Choose MY SALONS from the user menu
- If not already selected, choose the Salon you wish to enter, and add it to your list.
STEP 3 : PAY FOR ENTRY CATEGORIES
- Choose PAY FOR ENTRY from the user menu
- Choose Entry Categories of interest and add to your “shopping basket”
- Add other items (eg.Catalogue CD) you wish to pay for to your “shopping basket”.
- CHECKOUT and select one of the payment options available.
- (If you chose credit card payment, you'll now be rerouted to the bank's site)
- Make your payment.
STEP 4 : UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES
- Choose MY PHOTOS from the user menu
- Choose one of your entry categories.
- BROWSE to each image you wish to enter.
- Type the TITLE for each image (Salon Manager will create the required file name)
- Upload your images for the selected category one at a time.
- Repeat for other Entry Categories.
- Log out.
STEP 5 : ACCESS RESULTS AFTER JUDGING
- You will be emailed your scores as soon as Results are published.
- Check SALON INFO to find the date when results will be available
- Choose SALON RESULTS which you'll now find in the Salon menu.
- Select the results you want to see (for circuit salons, there will be several).
- Awards and acceptances will be displayed.
